Edmonton, Alberta – 2017, Western Carnival Development Association, producers of the Cariwest Festival, will be hosting our annual winter clothing drive in support of the Bissell Centre.

Western Carnival Development Association is hosting an open house style drop in drive for clothing and supplies. This year’s goal is to generate as much support for homeless teens in the inner city and raise awareness about the vital services the Bissell Centre provides. Some of the items most needed are:

 

• Winter toques, gloves

• Warm socks

• Hoodies, Jackets

• Backpacks

• Hand held Games

• Bus Tickets

• Insulated Mugs

• Toiletries

• Cosmetics

• Small chocolates/Gift cards

• Movie passes

 

Refreshments will be provided along with a behind the scenes look at Cariwest and how we put together Western Canada’s largest Caribbean festival.

 

All are invited, and all donations are welcome in support of the Bissell Center and homeless youth.
